Patrick Ness’ popularity took of with the Chaos Walking series which began in 2008 with his first book the Knife of Never Letting Go. Winner of the Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize, it was also the first book we ever reviewed here at Kid’s Compass and we count ourselves firmly amongst his many admirers. Still one of the most original series we have come across, after The Ask and the Answer’s release last year the Chaos Walking trilogy concludes this month with excellent Monsters of Men the review of which has now been posted. There will be a lot of interest in whatever Patrick Ness does next so let’s hope there isn’t long to wait.
